Jaguar XE (X760) 2014-2019
The Jaguar XE (X760) is a car manufactured by Jaguar Land Rover and marketed under their Jaguar marque since April 2015. A large family car, it has a four-door saloon car body style and is aimed at the compact-executive market segment. It is front engined and sold with both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The successor to the X-Type, it was designed by Ian Callum and launched at the October 2014 Paris Motor Show. Production of the XE ceased in mid 2024.
InControl Touch - XE's Factory Infotainment System
XE's command centre is called InControl Touch. It is the hub which gives control over the car’s major functions including audio, climate control and satellite navigation. It also enables telephone connectivity, to keep you in touch. The 8 inch Touch-screen in the centre console features an all new graphical interface and fast system response times, as well as familiar tablet and smartphones gestures such as ‘stretch’ and ‘swipe’.
Upgrading to Apple Carplay/ Android Auto
There is currently no solution to upgrade the Jaguar XE factory system to an aftermarket car stereo. We offer a retrofit interface which hides behind the centre console and supplies your car with wireless/ wired Apple Car Play and Android Auto. The unit does not replace any of the components of the infotainment system, allowing use of the current system in the car. Switching between CarPlay and the infotainment system is very easy.
There are 2 different sizes to the InControl Touch, which size touchscreen you have will depend on what interface box you will require when upgrading your system
