This cable adapts from the 2014 onward style Toyota antenna connector in the car to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connector, this is used when fitting an aftermarket stereo upgrade.

2014 onward to male din antenna adapter cable.

This cable adapts from the 2014 onwards style antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket male DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade.
The connector is rectangular with a round antenna terminal inside.

The loose blue wire needs to be connected to the blue antenna turn on wire output on the new stereo. This will need to be spliced into the wire if there is not a loose position for the terminal in the new ISO radio adapter cable connector.

What is the loose Blue wire for?

Connect the crimp connector (on the blue wire) to the blue antenna turn on wire, or the blue/white remote turn on wire coming from the new aftermarket radio harness.

If neither of these are available then you will need to cut off the crimp connector and splice the wire into the Blue or Blue/white on the radio harness. Use a T Tap style connector or solder the wires together.

Trouble shooting

I have poor FM reception

Check that the adapter is securely connected to the original ISO connection in the car, they can come apart if they get caught when installing the new radio into the dashboard.

I have no sound

Some cars also need the remote turn on wire for waking up an original amplifier. If there is no sound then make sure that the remote on is connected through to the car as well as to the bullet connection.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have needed to make your own connection for the remote turn on wire then make sure that the connection is secure and that 12v is output when the radio is on.
