Mercedes SLK 2004-2008 (Standard NTG1) Single/Double DIN car stereo fitting kit (NON-AMPLIFIED)

Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Single or Double DIN aftermarket car stereo and retain the use of the steering wheel controls in Mercedes SLK R171 (2004-2008) car models with standard original NTG1 radios and non amplified audio systems.

This head unit fitting kit includes:

Antenna adapter cable (21-106)

Male Fakra to Male DIN antenna adapter cable. This cable adapts from a Farka antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade. This is a passive adapter cable, not suitable for cars that need a phantom power supply to turn on the antenna amplifier.

Steering wheel control interface and universal patch lead (39-MB-A20/NTG1)

The cable adapts from the Quadlock connector in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable.

The CANbus steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation

This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume and track skip buttons.

The CANbus interface will also provide ignition, illumination, reverse gear, handbrake and speed pulse outputs.

This interface is supplied with a universal patch lead. This links the steering control interface to the steering wheel control input on the back of the new stereo.

PLEASE NOTE: This interface is only suitable for cars with original basic NTG1 radios. Cars with the upgraded COMAND APS NTG1 radio will require a different interface.

Flush mount Single/Double DIN fascia adapter panel (50-313)

Mercedes SLK R171 car radio fascia adapter panel to allow the fitting of an aftermarket Single or Double DIN car stereo upgrade.

The fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio.

The fascia is a flush mount fascia, giving a very tidy and professional finish to the installation.

Suitable for fitting 2004 - 2011 Mercedes SLK R171 car models.

103mm double din fitting cage kit (51-012)

This kit is designed to replace the metal cage kit that is usually supplied with your new aftermarket double din head-unit or navigation system. It is used along with fascias that have 103mm high hole sizes.

Complete with fixings to attach to the new car radio body.

Compatibility note: This kit is for 2004 to 2008 pre facelift Mercedes SLK R171 cars with basic Mercedes NTG1 original radios and non amplified audio systems.
