NAVAMP is special interface designed to allow audio from a factory fitted separate navigation device with audio outputs to play through the cars’ original speakers when replacing the original head unit.
The interface uses a mute relay and integrated amplifier to automatically cut audio from the new head unit to the front speakers and allow the original navigation audio to play through the front speakers.
This interface is universal with ISO connectors, if fitting into a car with different connectors a SOT lead is required.
Two wires from the NAVAMP interface need to be connected to the audio output from the original navigation unit.
This interface automatically senses audio from the navigation unit and this triggers the mute relay to cut the audio from the radio.
This is only for cars with standard audio systems, cars with amplified audio systems may require extra adapters.
