Porsche Cayenne (03-06) Single/ Double DIN car stereo fitting kit (CDR23/ PCM2.1/ BOSE AUDIO)

Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Single or Double DIN aftermarket car stereo and retain the use of the steering wheel audio controls in select Porsche Cayenne car models with CDR23/ PCM2.1 systems (ISO connection) with Bose audio.

This head unit fitting kit includes:

Male Fakra to DIN antenna adapter (21-106)

Male Fakra to Male DIN antenna adapter cable. This cable adapts from a Farka antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade.

This is a passive adapter cable, not suitable for cars that need a phantom power supply to turn on the antenna amplifier.

MOST fibre optic BOSE amplifier retention (23-240)

MOST fibre optic interface designed to retain the use of the original Bose fibre optic amplifier in Porsche Boxster, Cayman, 911 and Cayenne cars fitted with original CDR23 CDR24  PCM2, PCM2.1 and PCM3 head units to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade.

The interface connects at the back of the radio, it takes the phono audio output from the new radio and converts it to a digital signal that works with the original Bose amplifier. Note, the front to rear fade feature will be lost.

This interface is to retain audio with the Bose amplifier only, it does not generate an ignition power supply or retain the use of the steering wheel controls.

Steering wheel control interface (39-PO-ISO)

CANbus steering wheel control interface for Porsche Cayenne (2002-2007) car models with original ISO connections behind the radio.

This interface uses ISO connections behind the original radio to allow the use of the original steering wheel control buttons with a new aftermarket head-unit. It also provides CANbus outputs as well as Ignition, speed pulse, reverse gear, handbrake and illumination signals to the new stereo. Phone functions included for Alpine, Pioneer.

PLEASE NOTE: This interface comes with a universal patch lead which can be used with Alpine, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Pioneer, JVC, Kenwood, Sony or Zenec Head-units.
