Complete fitting kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket car stereo head unit and retain use of the original steering wheel controls in select Subaru (2007-2015) car models with a factory fitted Kenwood Navigation head unit. This fitting kit will also retain the use of the original OEM factory fitted camera.
This head unit fitting kit includes:
Subaru Aerial adapter to male DIN (21-132)
Subaru radio antenna cable adapter for converting the original car cable to use with aftermarket head units. This cable converts the car radios existing aerial plug to an aftermarket DIN type used by most car radio manufacturers.
29-Series Steering control interface with Camera retention (29-730-CAM)
Steering wheel control interface and camera adapter cable Subaru (2007 - 2013) with original Kenwood Navigation head unit.
The interface and radio adapter cable is plug and play, it is used to connect an aftermarket stereo upgrade and retain the use of the volume, track skip, source and phone buttons from the steering wheel with the new radio.
The cable also provides a speed pulse (for GPS) reverse output (for reverse camera) and handbrake output signal to the new stereo. The interface includes retention for the original reverse camera, and includes a 12v-6v voltage dropper, already hard wired for plug and play installation.
The cable adapts from the connectors in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable.
The steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation.
The interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume, track skip, source and phone buttons.
29-Series universal patch lead (29-025)
Universal patch lead to be used with In car Tec 29- series steering wheel control interfaces. This cable plugs into the 29-Series control box and connects to the 3.5mm socket or single wire on the back of the new head-unit.
Suitable for Use with Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony, Zenec, Philips, Dynavin and non branded Chinese head units.
Double DIN car audio fascia (50-727)
Car radio fascia adapter panel to allow the fitting of an aftermarket Double din car radio upgrade.
The fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio.
This fascia kit uses side fixing brackets, the brackets fit directly to the sides of the new radio and the fascia panel.
