Enhance your Mercedes SLK (R171 facelift 2009–2011) with this 9” Pioneer SPH-PF97BT Perfect Fit stereo kit, tailored for NTG2 non-amplified systems. The centrepiece is the Pioneer SPH-PF97BT Wi-Fi® stereo, which delivers Apple CarPlay® (wired & wireless), Android Auto™ (wired & wireless), Bluetooth® hands-free calling, WebLink® 3.0, and a sharp 9” capacitive touchscreen.
The kit comes with a bespoke 9” fascia adapter that converts the factory stereo aperture to a universal 4-screw mount for the Pioneer stereo, ensuring a seamless OEM-style dashboard finish.
A Mercedes Quadlock steering wheel control interface (NTG2) is included, allowing you to retain factory steering wheel audio controls such as volume, track skip, source selection, and telephone commands.
To maintain radio reception, the kit includes an antenna adapter cable with bullet connector. This converts the Fakra connector in the car to a DIN connector used by aftermarket stereos. The adapter features a built-in module providing a phantom power feed to the car’s original antenna amplifier. A loose wire must be connected to the 12V antenna power output of the new Pioneer stereo to activate the feed.

Antenna adapter cable

Steering wheel control interface and universal patch lead
The cable adapts from the Quadlock connector in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable.
The CANbus steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation
This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume and track skip buttons.
The CANbus interface will also provide ignition, illumination, reverse gear, handbrake and speed pulse outputs.
This interface is supplied with a universal patch lead. This links the steering control interface to the steering wheel control input on the back of the new stereo.
PLEASE NOTE: This interface is only suitable for cars with original basic NTG1 radios. Cars with the upgraded COMAND APS NTG1 radio will require a different interface.
Mercedes SLK (2009–2011) 9 inch fascia adapter (MATT BLACK)
Designed specifically for the SLK, this fascia is designed for installation of the Pioneer 9” stereo. Built as a bespoke fit for vehicles in the application list, it adapts the dashboard aperture after removing the factory stereo to accept a universally mounted 4-screw head unit. PLEASE NOTE
This radio is designed exclusively for use with 9" custom frame fascia panels. It mounts securely using a 4-screw system at the rear of the fascia panel. This unit cannot be installed as a standard 1-DIN or 2-DIN stereo and is not compatible with traditional 1 or 2-DIN fitting kits.
