This complete fitting kit allows you to install a Single or Double DIN aftermarket stereo in Vauxhall Insignia (2008–2013) models with the ECO button. The kit includes a matt black fascia panel with side fixing brackets for a flush, factory-style finish, a Fakra to DIN antenna adapter with phantom power, and a steering wheel control interface that retains audio controls, warning chimes, parking sensor tones, and provides CANbus outputs for ignition, illumination, speed pulse, handbrake, and reverse gear. A universal patch lead is also supplied for compatibility with most aftermarket head units.

PLEASE NOTE: Minor cutting of plastic behind the original radio is required for installation.

Upgrade the audio system in your Vauxhall Insignia (2008–2013) with this complete stereo fitting kit, designed to make installing a Single or Double DIN aftermarket head unit simple and professional. The kit includes a matt black fascia panel with side fixing brackets that provide a factory-style finish and flush fit. The supplied pocket allows for neat installation when fitting a Single DIN stereo. Please note: some plastic behind the original radio must be trimmed to accommodate an aftermarket unit.

To ensure seamless integration, the kit also contains a Fakra to DIN antenna adapter with 12v phantom power to connect the original aerial, and a steering wheel control interface with PDC retention. This interface retains factory audio steering wheel controls, warning chimes, and parking sensor tones while providing essential CANbus outputs including ignition, illumination, speed pulse, handbrake, and reverse gear signals. A universal patch lead is included, allowing the interface to connect directly to most major aftermarket stereos. Together, these components deliver a reliable, plug-and-play solution for upgrading your Insignia’s stereo system without losing important factory features.

This fitting kit contains:

Antenna adapter cable

Fakra to DIN antenna adapter cable with 12v phantom power. This antenna adapter cable adapts from the original Fakra connector in the vehicle to a standard aftermarket radio DIN antenna connection for the fitting of a stereo upgrade.

Steering wheel control interface with PDC retention

This interface retains the use of the original audio steering wheel controls and will also provide CANbus ignition, illumination, speed pulse, handbrake and reverse gear outputs.

The steering control interface will also retain the original warning chimes and parking sensor tones.

Universal patch lead for steering control interface

A universal patch lead is included, this matches the steering wheel control interface to the input on the back of the new stereo.

Fascia adapter panel

Replacement car audio fascia to enable you to change the original radio in the car to a Single or Double DIN aftermarket version

This fascia adapter allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the cars dashboard by matching the shape, style, size and colour of the original OEM factory fitted radio.

This fascia kit uses side fixing brackets, the brackets fit directly to the sides of the new radio and the fascia panel. This replaces the need for a fitting cage and gives a flush professional appearance to the installation. Use the supplied pocket if fitting a single DIN radio.

The fascia is designed to fit Vauxhall Insignia cars from 2008 to 2013 with the ECO button on the original radio panel.
